We are pleased to invite you to a talk by Paul Sharp entitled “What Shaped Welfare: Efficiency, Ideas and Risk in European Economic History” within the Master of Science in European Economy and Business Law (EEBL) at the Tor Vergata University of Rome.

The talk will address these questions by exploring the historical roots of European welfare systems, drawing on insights from the new edition of his book An Economic History of Europe.
