11th ASE Annual Meeting

The Associazione per la Storia Economica (ASE) announces a Call for Papers for its 11th ASE Annual Meeting.

The meeting will be held at Bocconi University, Milan on October 16-17, 2026.

It will feature an Economic History Workshop, with presentation of research papers. The ASE Keynote Lecture will be announced very soon. The local organisers of this year’s meeting are Guido Alfani and Andrea Colli.

Proposals for the economic history workshop should be submitted by e-mail to  ase@santannapisa.it by June 15th, 2026, 23.59 CET. You can send either a draft of your paper, or a detailed abstract of about 1,000 words.  Accepted papers will be notified by June 30th. Each paper will be assigned to a discussant, who should receive a draft by September 30th.

We specifically encourage submissions by PhD students and young researchers, and invite all ASE associates to share this CfP with potentially interested scholars.
