WeInIt Webinar: November 9, Paolo Bozzi on the history of Italian Inheritance tax

On November 9th, at 4.30 pm, the Welnlt - Wealth and Inheritance in Modern Italian History (1815-2015) project starts its (irregular) webinar series.

Financed by a Starting Grant from the Italian Science Fund (FIS), in the next five years WeInIt will expand our knowledge on wealth in Modern Italy, by digitizing the largest possible amount of inheritance tax declarations from the Napoleonic period to present. A brief description of the project can be found here.

In line with the multidisciplinary nature of the project, its webinar series will host speakers dealing with wealth inequality, history of taxation, and digital humanities.

The first speaker will be Paolo Bozzi (Regensburg), presenting his work on the long-run history of inheritance taxation in Italy. Paolo's paper will be discussed by Stefano Manestra (Bank of Italy). All info in the attached poster - join us on Teams.
