The University of Bologna is hiring two full-time research assistants (pre- or post-docs), to work on the project "Democratization, the media, socio-economic context, and voting behavior", with Giorgio Bellettini, Carlotta Berti Ceroni, Jonathan Chapman, Martin Gonzalez Eiras, and Giovanni Prarolo. The role will involve working on data collection, data management, data analysis, and literature search/review as part of a research team.
One role is particularly suited to economic historians, as it will involve working on a project investigating the inter-relationships between mass media and politics in nineteenth-century Britain.
The positions are for 15 months starting April 2024. We are open to remote working, particularly at the start of the contract. The working language is English and knowledge of Italian is not required. Applicants must have a masters degree in hand at the time of application.
